Confetti Party – Terms & Conditions for Party Items Hire
By placing a booking with Confetti Party, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are in place to protect both you and us and ensure a smooth hire process.
1. Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all hire items from the time they are delivered or collected until they are returned to us. Confetti Party is not liable for loss or damage caused by third parties, including venues or couriers acting on your behalf.
2. Booking Confirmation
Orders placed online or via email are only confirmed once stock availability has been checked and we’ve sent you a written confirmation.
3. Delivery & Collection
Local Delivery (Guildford & surrounding areas):
We recommend booking delivery at least 2 working days before your event to allow time to resolve any unforeseen issues.

Courier delivery (DPD): Available UK-wide, includes return label
4. Hire Period
Standard hire duration is up to 5 days.
Longer hires are possible – please contact us for a quote.
5. Delivery Times

Pick-up: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mon–Sat)

Courier (DPD): Between 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
We cannot guarantee exact delivery times. Items will be delivered to the ground floor within 10 metres of the delivery vehicle.
6. Checking Your Items

Please inspect your hire items as soon as they arrive.

For weekend events, notify us of any missing or damaged items by 12 PM Thursday at the latest to allow time for replacements.

Items must be repacked in original packaging for return.
7. Damage & Replacement
You are responsible for all hire items during the rental period. Items must be returned in their original condition.
Charges apply for:

Missing items

Damaged or broken props
-
Lost packaging
Normal wear and tear is accepted at our discretion. Props must be used indoors only, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
8. Collection & Returns

Local hires: We will agree a collection time at booking. Let us know at least 2 working days in advance if changes are needed.

Courier returns: Use the prepaid label and return on the agreed date. Late returns may incur additional hire charges.
You are responsible for ensuring all items are returned. If items are left at venues or lost, all associated replacement and collection costs will be charged.
9. Refunds & Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. You may cancel your booking under the following conditions:

10. Force Majeure & Replacements
If an item is unavailable due to late return or damage from a previous booking, we will do our best to provide a suitable alternative. In rare cases, we may cancel your booking and issue a full refund.
No further compensation will be offered for cancellations caused by events outside of our control (e.g. weather, courier delays, supplier issues).
11. Deposit
These are hire items – we keep credit card details securely on file as a deposit until items are returned.
12. Safety & Insurance
All props are checked before and after hire and are safe for decorative use. You are responsible for setting up props safely and securely. Confetti Party is not liable for injury or damage caused by improper use.
13. Acceptance of Terms
Payment for your booking confirms your acceptance of these terms and conditions. No signature is required.
